The peninsula Fischland-Darß-Zingst – an almost untouched piece of nature that is still considered to be an insider tip.
Before swimming and spa guests discovered the Baltic Sea coast for themselves, it was mainly artists who found a bubbling spring of inspiration here in the stillness.
The national park “Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft” stretches between island and mainland. It is a wild and romantic refuge for rare animals and plants. In the autumn, tens of thousands of cranes stop here.
The long 60 km, fine sandy coast of the Fischland-Darß-Zingst peninsula is unique. Fine white sand as far as the eye can see, rock-free and great for children, it promises pure swimming enjoyment for the entire family. Darß Weststrand is earthy, wild, and romantic with its bizarrely shaped trees called “Windflüchter”, which means they are fleeing from the wind. And, of course, here we have the indescribably vast sky.
After a refreshing swim in the clear, clean Baltic Sea, feel the sun on your skin. With no appointments, you can dig in the sand and then find the most beautiful stone on the beach. Sometimes flat and protected from the wind, sometimes rough and wildly romantic – every metre of our almost endless beach is worth the trip. Naturally, it is an unforgettable experience to dress warmly after a raging winter storm and find a piece of amber in the wake of the waves.
