  • Harz National Park. The best way to discover the unique, untouched nature is with the Harz narrow gauge train.
  • Brocken train: ride up to the legendary peak which, at 1,142 metres, is the highest mountain in northern Germany
  • The Selke Valley train is the romantic section of the narrow gauge network and has been an insider tip for lovers of nature for a long time
  • The Harz cross country train crosses Harz from Wernigerode to Nordhausen
  • Witches dance place: After Brocken mountain, the best known place in Harz is on a cliff that rises almost vertically out of the ground to a height of about 450 metres
  • Harz mining museum: 1,024 year history of mining with a variety of museums and mines that can be visited
