Binz Beach Promenade

You have to stroll along it to really get the best of Rügen. It is a promenade with the most beautiful buildings of the resort architecture, the landing bridge – and the Kurhaus.

Jagdschloss Granitz

What would Rügen be without Prince Malte von Putbus? He also had Jagdschloß Granitz built in 1837 – a top destination for a walk, for example starting from the Travel Charme Kurhaus Binz.

Chalk Coast with Königsstuhl in the Jasmund National Park

Caspar David Friedrich became world famous: the chalk cliffs of Stubnitz together with the blue Baltic Sea and green beech forests create a dream motif. It is the smallest national park in Germany, but the only one with a steep coast made of chalk above the sea.

The Island of Hiddensee

Here is a landscape that stimulates your soul with sunsets on wild beaches and fresh sea buckthorn in the autumn. We understand why Einstein or Gerhart Hauptmann raved about it.

Kap Arkona

The northernmost (and sometimes stormiest) point of the island has two famous lighthouses. With a little luck, you can see the Danish island Møn.

Rasender Roland

The flair of a classical steam locomotive from grandfather’s time, which is quite rare today, makes a trip with Rasenden Roland (Racing Roland) into a real attraction. It is pure and romantic railway at a "racy" speed of 25.

Prince’s Residence Putbus with a theatre, marketplace, circus, and castle park

Prince Malte gave it to us – this classicistic gem in the south of the island. Founded in 1910 by Prince Wilhelm Malte zu Putbus as the newest residence town of the north with an Italian flair, Putbus still bears the nicknames "White town" and “Rose town” today.
