Sardinia is tempting in every season with its mysterious Nuraghes – 3,000-year-old stone-age buildings – with its breathtaking sea cliffs at Capo Testa, its belligerent murals on political themes, the gentle scent of macchia on the breeze, the rugged, bare rocks inland, the cork-oak forests, or the pink sea of almond blossoms in January.

No concrete coasts, no stress – everything is low-key. An island of songs and history, which has even produced a Nobelprize winner for literature, Grazia Deledda. An island that sometimes appears a little mysterious – because its wild beauty constantly wants to be rediscovered.
