Sommerfrische im Tal: das Kleinwalsertal bietet neben seiner schönen Landschaft auch ein breites Sport- und Freizeitangebot.
The Kleinwalsertal with about 5,000 inhabitants spread over an area of 97 square km. It is 15 km long and 6.5 km wide.
From Bergen "surrounded" the valley is accessible by car only over German Federal Republic. To get from here to Austrian territory, one must either be good to walk or take a 45 km long drive up. For this reason, it has since 1891 customs union area, to relieve the valley population financially.
As the third largest tourist destination in Austria, Kleinwalsertal attracts each year thousands of tourists, both in summer and winter. Here, the stunning mountain scenery and the natural snow plays a large role.
