- Alpine skiing: The Karwendel and Rofan Mountains are right outside the front door. At the end of Achensee Lake is the Christlum ski region. However, it is also only a few minutes drive to Zillertal.
- Cross-country skiing: The Achensee cross-country ski region has one of the largest and best cared for network of trails in Austria. 150 kilometres of cross-country ski trails are available - many of them have four tracks. Besides the classical trails, there are also full length parallel skating trails for the beginner to the professional.
- Hiking in the snow: When hiking with snowshoes, you can get to know nature from an entirely new perspective. If you go trapping with snowshoes, then it is off to the idyllic Karwendel valleys and into the wild and romantic mountains.
- Sledding: Are you interested in a romantic evening of sledding? After “Hüttenzauber” or candlelight in the hotel, conquer the illuminated sled run and storm into the valley by torchlight. There is a sled run in Pertisau and five natural sled runs around Achensee Lake.
- Nordic Cruising: This is a symbiosis of Nordic walking and cross-country skiing and makes it possible to optimally combine summer and winter training.
- Snow-bike: Fast boarder routes with numerous obstacles, freestyle jumps and the giant half-pipe guarantee the greatest possible fun and kick.
