Accommodating the diverse needs of our guests, the PURIA Spa is open from 7 am to 6 pm to all our guests, including children and infants. From 6 pm onwards, we welcome all guests aged 14 and over to enjoy the evening hours in total relaxation.

The 1,600 m² wellness world of PURIA Spa
The world of water in all its variety in the wellness centre at Bergresort Werfenweng. The 20x8 m sports pool is heated and invites you to swim your laps all year round in the open air with a view of the impressive Hochkönig.
In the separate indoor relaxation pool, you can recover, body and soul, from the stress of everyday life and enjoy some peace and quiet. And in the outdoor panorama hot tub in the garden, you can watch your everyday worries sink away into the warm water. You can also experience water in its most natural form in the Werfenweng lake Wengsee, with refreshment in the cool water after an extensive hike.
Of course, all guest rooms are provided with bathrobes, pool towels and bathing shoes for a relaxing wellness holiday in Austria.
Our anniversary wellness package
Enjoy a relaxing 50-minute full body massage. Various peelings and the face mask ensure suppleness, provide you with valuable vital substances and support the natural glow of your skin. Feel the soothing warmth of the herbal pillow before your treatment comes to a sparkling end with a glass of champagne. A small wellness gift for home will revive the memory of your experience in everyday life.
Sauna area and relaxation area
In the soothing heat of a sauna, you can enjoy a relaxing break from the hectic rush of everyday life and simply ‘sweat your worries away’ – the wellness hotel in Werfenweng features various saunas at a range of temperatures, for a sauna experience tailored to your taste and needs. Gentle heat and naturally beguiling fragrances await in the 45°C Alpine steam room, while the 65°C cedar bio sauna provides the perfect balance between humidity and dryness.
A popular classic among sauna-goers is the 85°C Panoramic sauna, at Bergresort Werfenweng, a large window with a stunning Alpine view makes for an extra-indulgent sauna experience. You can also experience the mountains up close in the 95°C Finnish sauna cabin, which is located in the outdoor area and boasts a wonderful view of the Hochkönig.
And after a session in the sauna, you can cool down in the Kneipp foot pool or in the soothing rain and waterfall shower, complete with an ice fountain, and take a refreshing sip from the drinking fountain at the unique, natural stone boulder from the region. The various relaxation areas are ideal for recharging and enjoying the warmth: in the fireplace lounge, in armchairs and on heated stone loungers in two separate relaxation rooms with round beds – deep relaxation and contented balance await at Bergresort Werfenweng.

„The time for two is rare, but in vacation its possible.“
The feel good program starts with a full body massage about 50 minutes in the scent of rose oil and a peeling with rosepetals, rocksalt and roseoil. Afterwards you will receive a full-body-rose-cream-package that can unfold its effects in the private suite steam bath. Finally, you enjoy the suite with a glass of sparkling wine, a small snack and the bio sauna at around 50°C.

Alpine land & mountain lake (approx. 180 min.)
Relax alone or together with a full-body massage (50 min.). Afterwards, you can enjoy a soak in our couple’s tub and re-energise with a session in the steam room. This treatment also includes a glass of sparkling wine and a delicious bite to eat.
Swiss pine & mud (approx. 180 min.)
Enjoy a detoxifying mud pack in the separate steam room, followed by a soothing massage and a session in the private bio sauna, heated to around 50°C. This treatment also includes a delicious bite to eat and a glass of sparkling wine. Dive into a new world.
Solo (approx. 120 min.)
Enjoy some quality time together in one of our Private Suites, featuring a steam room and a couple’s bath tub or bio sauna. Plus a glass of sparkling wine and a delicious bite to eat.
Puria Day Spa
Those who are just looking for a short break from everyday life are also welcome at Bergresort Werfenweng! After a wellness day at our PURIA Day Spa, you get back to moving mountains and return to everyday life feeling relaxed and reinvigorated. Whether you’re enjoying a wellness day with your significant other, a day with your best friends or some time out just for you, the 1,600 m² PURIA Spa has plenty of room for pure, deep relaxation.
