Water world with 200 m² water surface
Water – at our wellness hotel, located right by a crystal-clear lake in the heart of the Alps, this life-giving liquid is ever-present. Not just in the lake but also in our varied pool area in the PURIA Spa. Swim your morning lengths in the connected indoor and outdoor pool, measuring 200 m2 and heated, or simply let yourself drift along after an active day in the mountains.
In the heated outdoor hot tub directly on the shore of Lake Achensee, you can sink into the bubbles and experience the joy of water in the open air, with a view of the mountains reflected in the waters of the lake. Then, let the ‘Tropical Rain’ waterfall shower give you a soothing, full-body massage. Experience the joy of water at perfect temperatures all year round in the Fürstenhaus pool area...
Our anniversary wellness package
Enjoy a relaxing 50-minute full body massage. Various peelings and the face mask ensure suppleness, provide you with valuable vital substances and support the natural glow of your skin. Feel the soothing warmth of the herbal pillow before your treatment comes to a sparkling end with a glass of champagne. A small wellness gift for home will revive the memory of your experience in everyday life.
Saunas & relaxation areas
In the sauna, you can enjoy the soothing heat and simply ‘sweat your worries away’ – what a wonderful feeling. In the Fürstenhaus sauna area, every guest is sure to find a sauna to suit their individual tastes and preferences: experience gentle heat in the bio sauna (approx. 60°C) or brine grotto with steam sauna or relax in temperatures of approx. 70°C in the Tyrolean ‘Schwitzstube’ (sweat lodge) and approx. 80°C in the large Finnish Sauna. A special highlight is our new panorama sauna. In this 80-85°C sauna, which provides a calming view of Lake Achensee and the Tyrolean mountain landscape, you can leave all your everyday worries behind.
If you’re looking to balance things out after a session in the sauna, our ‘Tropical Rain’ waterfall shower is sure to leave you feeling refreshed. Afterwards, you can reflect and unwind in the various relaxation areas with waterbeds, recliners and wicker armchairs – lakeside views included.

In addition, the targeted use of sounds and fine vibrations of the sound couch relieve mental tension, so that afterwards you feel light as a feather and can enjoy the feeling of deep inner and outer relaxation.

When it comes to choosing product lines for the treatments we offer at our PURIA Spa, we always prioritise top quality and regionality. That’s why we put our trust in Vinoble Cosmetics, a natural cosmetics line from Austria that uses grapes to create the highest-quality skincare products. Experience exclusive treatments bursting with the power of nature – for example, with the ‘Dive into the world of Vinoble’ package: a facial treatment with a gentle enzyme peel, a grape-seed scrub and a grape-seed oil massage will leave you feeling good from head to toe.
Many of our wellness services also make use of Tyrolean shale oil, which has been used for more than 100 years and is produced right here in the Achensee region. Experience its soothing and nourishing effects on hair, skin and the entire musculoskeletal system through our treatments.
Private Suite – spa experiences for two
In a romantic atmosphere, our private suite, with its own sauna, is available to you for one hour in a wonderful ambience. A bottle of Fürstenhaus Rose Sparkling and a plate of fruit and chocolates will sweeten your togetherness.
A full-body massage (these take place in separate rooms) afterwards provides the perfect end to your time out together.
