Relaxation area with hot tub
The relaxation area of our PURIA Spa is a wonderful spot to retreat to and unwind after a long day of sight-seeing, hiking or business. The heated ceramic loungers are a particular highlight: with their ergonomic shape, they offer unparalleled comfort.
Don't forget to pop into the sauna and break a healthy sweat or enjoy our bubbly hot tub while you're here. If you would rather spend some time doing absolutely nothing in perfect silence, head to the adjacent quiet room. It is equipped with comfortable loungers.
Sabbia Med – a Baltic beach with UV light
What if we told you that you could experience the Baltic coast in the Harz Mountains? Well, you can.
The Sabbia Med in our PURIA Spa offers a relaxation room with genuine sand from the Baltic Sea, UV light, pleasant temperatures and a relaxing soundscape. Warm sand between your toes and a pleasant exfoliant on your back will leave you feeling perfectly relaxed, no matter the season.

Our anniversary wellness package
Enjoy a relaxing 50-minute full body massage. Various peelings and the face mask ensure suppleness, provide you with valuable vital substances and support the natural glow of your skin. Saunas
The PURIA Spa offers a variety of saunas, where you can relax your muscles after an action-packed day outdoors and enjoy some health-giving heat therapy. The Finnish dry sauna features incredibly relaxing, aromatic infusions with lemon essence at 90 degrees Celsius.
If you prefer a little less heat, the dry sanarium, at 45 degrees Celsius, is for you. With 90% humidity and a temperature of 45 degrees Celsius, the steam bath has a pleasant atmosphere similar to that of a Turkish hammam.
Treatments and massages
In addition to a range of lovely relaxation spots, the PURIA Spa at the Gothisches Haus Hotel offers a selection of health-giving beauty treatments, such as exfoliating rubs and anti-ageing masks, and full-body and partial massages.
Our recommendation: the popular Gothic Special with snow exfoliation, witches’ herb infusion, a back massage to relieve muscle tightness and a relaxing foot massage.
Yoga weekends
Experience a weekend full of relaxation, strength and tranquillity.
Experienced yoga teacher Svenja Kunde will guide you through various workshops and sessions in selected Travel Charme hotels during the yoga weekends. Look forward to your inspiring time out, after which you will return to everyday life with more energy, balance and stress resistance.
