Today's chef de cuisine completed his vocational training between 1997 and 2000 under Austria's first-ever winner of a Michelin Star, Ortwin Adam.
In 1978, Ortwin Adam became the first Austrian chef to be chosen for the sought-after award – and his base was right here at this hotel, then simply called Ifen Hotel. Sascha Kemmerer spent many years perfecting his art at various top restaurants. Since the new Travel Charme Ifen Hotel opened its doors, he has been responsible for its culinary offers – with incredible success.

Restaurant and Service Manager Lisa Thiel
Lisa Thiel developed her love of gastronomy and hotel industry during her childhood, when she was able to visit numerous excellent restaurants with her parents.
The pleasant feeling and warmth that was conveyed to her there, remained in her memory and was the reason why she knew while she was still at school that she later wanted to start her professional life as a trainee in the hotel business. Her affinity for wine was influenced by her father, who mostly acquired his knowledge of fine wines himself and was happy to share it with his daughter.
After her apprenticeship and first professional years at the Schlosshotel Kronberg as well as other positions, the hotel business economist's path led her to work as restaurant manager of the Kilian Stuba 2022 to the Ifen Hotel Kleinwalsertal. Today's service manager for all gastronomic areas of the house, which has over 500 fine wines stored in the wine cellar, creates a warm and relaxed atmosphere with her team and gives you expert advice on the perfect accompaniment to the creations from Sascha Kemmerer's cuisine.
