Arrival by car
Journey
Even though the island of Rügen is naturally surrounded by water, you can arrive comfortably and flexibly by car. Two bridges connect Rügen with the mainland: the Rügen Bridge and the Rügen Dam. The use of these bridges is free of charge. Note: The Rügen Dam is closed to car traffic five times a day for about 20 minutes. Alternatively, we recommend the car ferry between Stahlbrode and Glewitz.

Parking spaces
For a fee of € 10,00 (2025: € 12,00) per day and per vehicle, you can use the parking spaces on our premises, subject to availability.
Arrival by train
Enjoy your journey from the beginning and travel environmentally friendly by train. Take the train directly to Binz or to Bergen. From there, public transport (bus line 20 or 22) or a cab will take you to your destination. Watch the passing landscape, have stimulating conversations with fellow passengers or get in the mood for your vacation with a good read.
