You want to get close to the Baltic Sea? There are numerous water sports options in Kühlungsborn. At our Ostseehotel, for example, you can rent a stand-up paddleboard and test your balance on the water.

Sailing, surfing and catamaran training courses are offered at the Kühlungsborn Water Sports Centre. We will gladly provide you with further contacts for other water sports activities such as diving or fishing.

Stand-Up-Paddling

They say that there is endless freedom above the clouds. Maybe so. But at least as great is the feeling of gliding silently over the water in perfect harmony with the surroundings. Have you already had the opportunity to try this wonderful sport? We offer ideal conditions for beginners and advanced paddlers. Simply rent your Standup Paddle Board at the reception. Wittenbeck Golf Course offers unforgettable golf experiences in the brisk sea breeze on its championship course – exceptional panoramic views of the Baltic included. And you don’t have to be an elite player to enjoy it – even players with handicaps between 20 and 45 have a fair shot here. Warnemünde Golf Club offers maximum flexibility, with three 9-hole rounds on the grounds and a public 6-hole short course, and a great experience for beginners just 20 minutes by car from Kühlungsborn.

DGV course maturity

Content of the course maturity test:

Course according to the regulations of the DGV on 3 or 4 days! This course is suitable for
anyone interested in golf. The aim is to learn the basics of the game of golf and to gain a thorough
and to gain a thorough insight into the rules and etiquette. The course concludes with an
examination in accordance with DGV regulations.

The exam is organised according to the regulations of the German Golf Association
Theoretical part with 30 questions on golf rules and etiquette (multiple choice)
Practical part, 9-hole round on the Höstingen course
Rulebook allowed as a reference book

As proof of passing the DGV exam, each student receives a course maturity certificate.
