Bad Gastein convinces in a double pack: Straubinger ensemble among the finalists for the Tophotel Newcomer Award

For the third time, the two Bad Gastein hotels of the Travel Charme Group have been nominated for their successful refurbishments. The Straubinger Grand Hotel and the neighbouring Hotel Badeschloss have made it into the top four reopened leisure hotels in the DACH region in the "Hotel Reopening Leisure" category of the Tophotel Newcomer Awards. As a result of their successful redesigns last autumn, the two hotels have already won a LIV Hospitality Design Award and Platinum at the London Design Awards for their exceptional architecture. Winning the Tophotel Newcomer Award would join this series and would be another prominent industry award in the current year.

The special architecture of the Straubinger Grand Hotel and the Hotel Badeschloss deliberately reflects the changes in society, which are constantly redefining space and location and creating individual lifestyles. By combining history and modernity, the two hotels have created an architecturally contemporary yet appealing hotel concept. The modern style in combination with historical elements has a positive effect on the well-being of the guests and sets the framework and standard for the level of service, quality and comfort. A concept that both guests and international juries appreciate and honour time and time again.

With the Tophotel Newcomer Award, the industry trade magazine Tophotel annually honours the best new openings that stand out from the large number of hotels that have entered the market throughout Germany, Austria and Switzerland and impress with their exciting concepts or outstanding services. The qualified expert jury is made up of important voices from trade journalism such as Brit Glocke, Editor-in-Chief of Tophotel and Hotel+Technik, and Natascha Ziltz, Managing Editor of Hotel+Technik, as well as important decision-makers from the industry such as Anna Heuer, Managing Director of HSMA and Carolin Brauer, Managing Director of QR Reservations.
