Grand Opening in Bad Gastein: Straubinger Grand Hotel and Badeschloss celebrate their grand opening.
Bad Gastein, December 8, 2023 - After the Straubing Grand Hotel opened its doors in September, the neighboring lifestyle Hotel Badeschloss has been welcoming guests from near and far since December 1. Today, Friday, the start of a new chapter in the two historic hotels was officially celebrated with around 50 public figures at a glamorous opening ceremony against a wintry backdrop.
Having said words of gratitude and joy from the balcony of the Badeschloss, Governor Dr. Wilfried Haslauer, the Mayor of Bad Gastein, Gerhard Steinbauer, and Dr. Annette-Louise Hirmer of the HIRMER Group walked down the stairs to Straubinger Platz and gathered in front of the magnificent entrance to the Straubing Grand Hotel to cut the symbolic ribbon befitting the ceremony.
Among the invited guests were numerous partners and friends of the hotel who have intensively supported the HIRMER Hospitality Group's project over the past few months. Afterwards, a house tour through both hotels offered the opportunity to look at the new interior designs.
The Hirmer Group reopened the Straubinger Ensemble in the heart of Bad Gastein after almost 20 years of vacancy in an extensive revitalization. Thus, the Austrian spa resort, which is known for its thermal springs, tranquility and wellness, among other things, is experiencing a new era for tourism in the region.
