At the heart of our culinary world lies the Straubinger Saal with its historical opulence, which has been the setting for grand celebrations for over a century and a half. The Straubinger Café brings Viennese coffeehouse culture to Bad Gastein, while the Straubinger Bar, offering Martinis as the venue’s signature drink, takes on the starring role in the evening. Exclusively for events, our wine cellar – the Straubinger Weinkeller – can also open its doors.

STRAUBINGER CAFÉ
The place where the Straubinger’s heart and soul come to life. Perfect for observing light and shadow passing by through the windows, taking note of the little things and losing yourself in your thoughts.
Viennese coffeehouse culture in the heart of Bad Gastein. We will be happy to serve you a generous slice of Straubinger torte or Linzer torte, traditional apple strudel, storied Gugelhupf cake or light snacks.
DINNER IN THE STRAUBINGER SAAL
Boundless indulgence in a contemporary guise. Drawing inspiration from the world’s grand hotels, we present modern interpretations of classic French and Austrian haute cuisine.
Seasonal ingredients from selected local producers set the rhythm. Tartare, terrine, soufflé or boiled beef invite you on a transcendent culinary journey and can also be served as vegetarian or vegan dishes upon request.
Are you staying with us for dinner in the Straubinger Saal? Use your free parking space in the multi-storey car park by the waterfall. Alternatively, you can use our optional valet service: Simply drive conveniently to the main entrance of the hotel and please inform reception.
STRAUBINGER BAR
As nightfall arrives, the doors to this retreat swing open, where the Martini takes centre stage as the venue’s signature drink. Before that, we extend our welcome in the fireside Kaminbar area[A1] for a delightful afternoon tea.
Our bartenders are masters of their craft, with every cocktail prepared to the highest standards of perfection. In our cosmopolitan lounge area, the bar is stocked with a carefully curated selection of premium spirits and still and sparkling wines. The assortment of food options will elevate a mere visit to a true experience.
STRAUBINGER WEINKELLER
Exclusive wine cellar events in a vault that is only reminiscent of one at first glance.
Approximately 200 handpicked wines from primarily Austrian and other European vineyards, when paired with a small menu selection and the expansive panorama offered by the terrace, create the extraordinary amidst the seemingly commonplace.
