Strandidyll Heringsdorf celebrates Valentine's Day, St Patrick's Day and the iconic "Tanztee"

Heringsdorf, 6 February 2024 - One hotel, three events, three dates. The months of February and March will be exciting at Strandidyll Heringsdorf: the Travel Charme hotel will celebrate Valentine's Day on 14 February with a four-course menu in the hotel's Giardino restaurant. On 17 March, guests can look forward to a St. Patrick's Day special with selected cocktails at the club bar before the Belvedere restaurant hosts the iconic "Tanztee" event on 24 March.

The Giardino restaurant - the perfect address on Valentine's Day

On Valentine's Day, gourmets can indulge in a four-course menu at Giardino prepared by the chef and his team. Enrico Graf knows the culinary needs of his guests like no other. The chef de cuisine has been with the restaurant since it opened in 2001 and has constantly developed and refined the Giardino's cuisine ever since. His style is sometimes regional and sometimes Mediterranean, but one thing is always the same: he always serves sustainable and local produce. Whether for Valentine's Day or any other day for a breakfast buffet or dinner - the Giardino is a top address at any time of the day or year with its conservatory, including a wonderful view, and its cosy garden terrace. Every Wednesday, the kitchen team invites you to an Italian buffet with traditional Italian delicacies. On Fridays, the "Mecklenburg speciality evening" is celebrated with fresh fish and selected specialities from the countryside.

Celebrate St Patrick's Day in style at the club bar

Ireland's best-known bank holidays is also becoming increasingly popular in this country. For St. Patrick's Day on 17 March, the mixing professionals at the Club Bar have therefore come up with a special cocktail. Whether elegant, sparkling, creamy, tart or alcohol-free - with "Irish Maid", "The Tipperary", "Irish Lemonade" or "Elevenses", not only Ireland fans will get their money's worth. When the club bar is not celebrating an Irish bank holidays, locals and guests are happy to stop by for a sophisticated drink in between. Noble distillates from the region are used for the in-house and international creations and the changing "cocktail of the day" tastes particularly good by the cosy fireplace.

Dancing at teatime - the "Tanztee" at Restaurant Belvedere

From 24 March, the in-house Belvedere restaurant will not only be serving coffee and cake in the afternoons, but also regularly inviting guests to dance. Fans of tango, waltz or disco fox can now also enjoy the special atmosphere of the restaurant with its glass dome in the stylish rooms where exquisite delicacies are usually served. Of course, you can extend your stay at the Belvedere by making a reservation for the evening dinner (Tuesday to Saturday from 18:00).

Head chef Jan Kruse gave the award-winning fine dining restaurant a new culinary and design concept in May last year. The focus of his sophisticated gourmet cuisine is on regional products and specialities with a cosmopolitan twist. The Belvedere is not only popular with gourmets for its culinary delights, as they can choose from eleven seasonal dishes to compose an exquisite menu consisting of three to six courses. The view of the Baltic Sea through the panoramic windows or from the roof terrace is unrivalled.
