The best hotels in Austria 2023

The Connoisseur Circle Rating "The best hotels" includes in its election the travel evaluations from the guests of portal TrustYou, a public voting. This includes the judgement of a jury of experts consisting of experienced travel editors. The first three houses are ranked from 1 to 3 as top winners. All other hotels are listed without rankings in their respective categories.

"Straubinger Grand Hotel in Bad Gastein: 1st place in the category "Newcomer".

In addition to serving international culinary trends, fresh fish from the mountain lake, spicy cheese from the alpine pasture, and bread from the organic farmer located on the opposite shore are served. It doesn't get any more regional or fresh.

Travel Charme Bergresort Werfenweng: Awarded in the category "Mountain/Winter Hotels".

The Connoisseur Circle describes the four-star superior house with the words "Original. Gentle. Restful." The Bergresort Werfenweng in Salzburger Land places more value on sustainability and regionality than any other hotel. During construction, the focus was on ecological construction, warm colors and local materials. The house merges formally with its environment, from which the food originates. The regional natural cuisine here is supplied almost exclusively by local suppliers.
