Four Hands Dinner at the Ifen Hotel: Double culinary delights with top chefs Sascha Kemmerer and Franz Keller

Kleinwalsertal, December 4, 2023 - On December 9, 2023, star chef Sascha Kemmerer, culinary director at the Ifen Hotel Kleinwalsertal, will welcome a special guest of honor and colleague to his kitchen. At the Four Hands Dinner, Franz Keller will incorporate his passion for "simply good cooking" and his connection to nature into their dishes. Together, the duo will create a six-course menu for guests at the Kilian Stuba, providing double the pleasure.

Franz Keller is one of the most renowned top chefs in Germany. He learned his craft from internationally renowned French chefs such as Jean Ducloux, Paul Lacombe and Paul Bocuse. After various Michelin-starred restaurants of his own, he followed his passionate devotion to cooking as a "craft of pleasure" and fulfilled a dream with his "Falkenhof" located above the Wispertal valley. Today, he dedicates himself to breeding cattle and free-range pigs, writes bestsellers and gives cooking courses, in which his philosophy "from the simple to the best" is always the credo. His awareness of food of the highest quality and good food without gimmicks hits a nerve in society. Guests at the Four Hands Dinner will be able to see his naturally produced products for themselves on this evening.

The style of the Michelin-starred cuisine of the host with the chef de cuisine has its own unmistakable character. Sascha Kemmerer combines his roots in French cuisine with technical perfection, delicate and creative modernity and elegant classicism. He looks forward to the upcoming collaboration with great enthusiasm: "For me, cooking also means learning from each other. With Franz Keller, I am welcoming a personality with an impressive reputation and an inspiring lifestyle. Together we will create a very special, tasteful field of tension that will certainly also reveal similarities."

During the 6-course menu including wine accompaniment from the Franz Keller winery and rare champagnes from Laurent Perrier, exquisite culinary delights such as Norwegian scallop on caviar, Saucisson de Lyon aux Lentilles or Atlantic turbot with white truffle from Istria are served.

The cuisine at the Ifen Hotel in Kleinwalsertal is considered the top gourmet address in the region. Since the reopening in 2010, Sascha Kemmerer has been shaping the culinary landscape for both hotel and external guests with his award-winning restaurants "Kilian Stuba" and "Carnozet". The third restaurant, Theo's, is available exclusively to hotel guests.
